Paramount Home Entertainment has selected Jan. 9 as the street for a 25th anniversary 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray edition of director Brian Robbins’ Varsity Blues.
Varsity Blues, starring Jon Voight, Paul Walker and Amy Smart, is newly restored from the original camera negative.
Bonus goodies include commentary from director Brian Robbins, who is joined producers Tova Laiter and Mike Tollin, plus four production featurettes — “Football is a Way of Life: The Making of Varsity Blues,” “Two-A-Days: The Ellis Way,” “QB Game Analysis” and “Billy Bob with No Bacon.”
