Cleopatra Entertainment Circles Friday May 3rd On The Music Release Calendar For The Delivery Of The DVD/CD Combo Pack Presentation Of The Last Will And Testament Of U.K. Subs

Cleopatra Entertainment, with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, announced this past week that Friday, May 3 will be the street date for the DVD/CD Combo Pack release of The Last Will and Testament of U.K. Subs.

In late September of last year, Charlie Harper, Alvin Gibbs, Steve Staughan and Stefan Haublein — known to fans as the iconic punk rockers, U.K. Subs (who were literally there at the beginning of the punk rock scene in 1976) — checked in at the 100 Club in London and delivered a blowout set featuring two-dozen of their hardcore numbers.

Their fans were not disappointed as the 70-minute set included the likes of “Stranglehold,” “Warhead,” “Tomorrow’s Girls,” “Teenage” and “Party in Paris” (all hit singles from 1979 and 1980) … plus from the group’s “Brand New Age Album” the song with lyrics that scream “… Barbie was thin, white skin, Barbie’s in bed, she’s dead!”   In this day and age what U.K. Subs concert that didn’t feature “Barbie’s Dead” would be complete!!

Bonus goodies include video sessions with the band members behind stage at the 100 Club.
