Well Go USA Sets Mar. 10 As The Domestic Release Date For DVD And Blu-ray Versions Of Director Zhang Zhiliang’s The White Haired Witch

Director Zhang Zhiliang’s The White Haired Witch will be making its domestic DVD and Blu-ray debut this coming Mar. 10 courtesy of Well Go U.S.A.

The Ming Dynasty is in its death stages and treachery abounds in this lavish tale of internecine warfare.   In addition to its lush cinematography and elaborate stunt choreography, The White Haired Witch stars the stunning Fan BingBing (Buddha Mountain, Cell Phone, etc.) as the title character, a sorceress with incredible fighting skills whose real name is Jade. 

When she is double-crossed and implicated in the assassination of the provincial governor, Jade suddenly finds herself very much alone, especially so since the man she has fallen in love with, Zhuo Yihang (Huang Xiaoming — The Message, Sacrifice, The Last Tycoon, IP Man 2), appears to have turned against her.   

You can’t really blame him as the governor was his uncle, but he too must play the game of court intrigue until the real culprits can be exposed!
