Wolfe announced this past
week that actor, writer/director Kit Williamson’s twice-nominated Emmy web
series, EastSiders, will return for fans to enjoy on Nov. 28 as a
day/date launch on both digital
platforms and DVD.
Titled EastSiders:
Season Three, it picks up Cal (Kit Williamson) and Thom (Van Hansis) on
a coast-to-coast road trip covering 16 states from New York to California.
So popular was the second season that
Williamson, in true indie filmmaking fashion, funded the production through a
Kickstarter campaign that raised $80,000 — the final product belies that
limited production budget as Lincoln Lewis’ cinematography dazzles.
Series regulars, Constance
Wu (Fresh
Off the Boat), Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: Discovery), Stephen
Guarino (I’m Dying Up Here), RuPaul’s Drag Race star William
Belli and the lovely Traci Lords as Cal’s mother are all back for this
eye-opening road trip.
