Universal Picture Home Entertainment's Night School Arrives On Jan. 1 As A Three-SKU Product Launch To Open The New Year

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will welcome the New York with the Jan. 1 three-SKU debut of director Malcolm D. Lee’s post-Labor Day comedy hit, Night School, teaming Kevin Hart with Tiffany Haddish.

The ARR is 95 days and ticket sales were a snappy $74.4 million.

As to bonus goodies, common to all three home entertainment product offerings — DVD, Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack and 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack — are commentary from director Malcom D. Lee (Girls Trip, The Best Man, Scary Movie 5), an extended cut of the film (an additional five minutes worth of footage), an alternate opening and deleted scenes.

Bonus features on the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD editions include a gag reel, an extended performance of “El Sueno” and seven featurettes — “Night School’s in Session,” “Who’s the Student?  Who’s the Teacher?,” “Prom Night Revisited,” “Cap ‘n Gown ‘n Giggles,” “Making of the Dance Battle,” “Christian Chicken” and “Game Over.”
