Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment Selects Aug. 13 For The Home Entertainment Rollout Of Avengers: Endgame

Three full hours of super-hero action is what Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has planned for Aug. 13.   That’s the street for a three-SKU helping of the directing team of Anthony and Joe Russo’s mega-hit, Avengers: Endgame.

The ARR is 109 days and box office receipts were in the stratosphere with an eye-popping take of $834.6 million.

Planned for consumer consumption are Combo Pack editions for both 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) and Blu-ray (with DVD), plus a stand-alone DVD editions (both Target and Best Buy will have their own special edition releases).

As to bonuses, there is a commentary option teaming co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo with writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (the four of them also delivered Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier).   

There are also a half-dozen deleted scenes, a gag reel, an intro by the Russo Brothers, a tribute to the late Stan Lee (titled “Remembering Stan Lee”) and six featurettes — “Setting The Tone: Casting Robert Downey Jr.,” “A Man Out of Time: Creating Captain America,” “Black Widow: Whatever It Takes,” “The Russo Brothers: Journey to Endgame,” “The Women of the MCU” and “Bro Thor.”
