MVD Entertainment Group, working with Kew Media
Group, looks to Nov. 26 as the street for the DVD debuts of not one, but two
British-Royal Family themed documentaries.
The first of these is documentary filmmaker Tara
Pirnia’s Harry & Meghan: A Modern Royal Romance, an
intimate look at the backgrounds of both actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
— Henry Charles Albert David, the Duke of Sussex. The documentary also explores the irony of
King Edward VIII’s abdication of the throne to marry American socialite Wallis
Simpson in 1937.
Also arriving on Nov. 26 is documentary filmmakers Vance
Goodwin and Adrian Munsey’s Princess Diana: A Life After Death, a
20th Anniversary commemoration of the tragic death of Diana, Princess
of Wales — mother of Prince Harry and Prince William — on Aug. 31, 1997.
The documentary presents a summary of Princess
Diana’s political, historical and social legacy … an intimate look back at the tumultuous
times surrounding her death, which includes her separation from Prince Charles and
the arrival of Prime Minister Tony Blair on the political scene.
Those interviewed in the documentary include Sir
Anthony Seldon, Alastair Campbell, Jeffrey Archer, Emily Nash, Katie Nicholl,
Catherine Mayer, Richard Kay and Sarah, Viscountess Bangor.
