Paramount Home Entertainment announced this past week that director John Hughes Thanksgiving road trip comedy, Planes, Trains and Automobiles will be getting a new limited edition SteelBook Blu-ray push on Nov. 23.
Bonus goodies include vintage video sessions with John Hughes, a deleted scene, a tribute to John Candy and previously released featurettes, including “Getting There is Half the Fun” and “John Hughes for Adults.”
Also added to the release calendar this week is a 4K Ultra HD edition of director Ernest R. Dickerson’s 1992 film release of Juice: 30th Anniversary Edition, starring Omar Epps and Tupac Shakur. The street date for this 4K Ultra HD edition will be Jan. 11, 2022.
Bonus features include commentary from filmmaker Ernest R. Dickerson, the making-of presentation titled “You’ve Got the Juice Now,” a pair of featurettes — “The Wrecking Crew” and “Sip the Juice: The Music” — and video sessions with the cast members titled “Stay in the Scene: The Interview.”
