Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be bringing home the scares, frights and hide-you-eyes horror of director Nia DaCosta’s Candyman as a three-SKU lineup on Nov.16.
Planned for release are Combo Pack selections for the 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) and Blu-ray (with DVD) formats, plus a stand-alone DVD edition.
The ARR for this mid-November street date is 81 days and domestic box receipts stand right $61 million.
It is 27 years later and the Candyman is back!! This direct-sequel comes loaded with goodies, including deleted and extended scenes, an alternate ending and a whopping seven featurettes — “Say My Name,” “Painting Chaos,” “The Art of Roåbert Aiki Aubrey Lowe,” “Terror in the Shadows,” “The Filmmaker’s Eye: Nia DaCosta,” “Body Horror” and “Candyman: The Impact of Black Horror.”
