Paramount Home Entertainment Preps Blu-ray And DVD Editions Of Mayor Of Kingstown: Season One For Release On Sept. 27

Taylor Sheridan, that alone is enough to catch your eye.   On the movie-side of the ledger he has delivered Sicario and its sequel, Sicario: Days of the Soldado, Hell or High Water and Wind River … on the TV, Yellowstone and its prequel, 1883.

This time around he has teamed up with actor Hugh Dillon to write and produce (and even direct two episodes) the crime and prison drama series, Mayor of Kingstown: Season One, which will be heading home on DVD and Blu-ray from Paramount Home Entertainment on Sept. 27.

His Wind River star, Jeremy Renner, stars as Mike McLusky, the newly-minted leader (aka: Mayor) of the McLusky clan, who control the biggest business in town … the prison.

All ten episodes are included in these three-disc DVD and three-disc Blu-ray collections (and yes, a second season is already in the works).

Bonus goodies include behind-the-story segments for each of the ten episodes, plus three featurettes — “Perdition: Making Mayor of Kingstown,” “Zero Sum Game: The Finale” and “Inside Mayor of Kingstown.”
