Director Danny Cannon's I Still Know What You Did Last Summer Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary With A New 4K Ultra HD Edition From Sony Pictures Home Entertainment On Sept. 26

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be marking the 25th anniversary of director Danny Cannon’s 1998 theatrical release of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer with a newly-minted 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack edition on Sept. 26.

The 1997 film adaptation of Lois Duncan’s 1973 novel, I Know What Your Did Last Summer, by screenwriter Kevin Williamson (Scream, The Faculty, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Cursed), was inspired and turned the mixed-genre Halloween-season theatrical release into an instant genre-fan favorite … and naturally a sequel was quickly put into the works.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, who literally became a star with her performance as Julie James in the original, is back and once again stalked by “The Hook” (remember, you can never keep a good villain buried for long).  Of course, there’s a twist (if are reading this, then you likely already know the “secret”)!

Bonus goodies include a newly-prepared commentary with director Danny Cannon (Judge Dredd), a making-of featurette, the “How Do I Deal” music video from Jennifer Love Hewitt and a video session titled “He Still Knows What You Did” with Muse Watson (who plays a kindly fisherman in both films by the name of Ben).
