DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey, @dvdblurayreport
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment made it official.   Aug. 8 will be the delivery date for a full spread of home entertainment packaged media product offerings of director Louis Leterrier’s Fast X.

The ARR* works out to 81 days and domestic box office receipts currently stand right at $146 million.

Planned for distribution are Combo Pack editions for both the Blu-ray (with DVD) and 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) formats, plus a stand-alone DVD edition.

Bonus goodies, which are limited to the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD SKUs, are toplined with commentary by director Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me, The Transporter, The Transporter 2, Unleashed), a gag reel, a pair of music videos and a whopping eight production featurettes — “This is Family,” “Fast Breaks: Scene Breakdowns with Louis Leterrier,” “Xtreme Rides of Fast X,” “Belles of the Brawl,” “Tuned Into Rio,” “Jason Momoa: Conquering Rome” (the only featurette included on the DVD), “Little B Takes the Wheel” and “A Friend in the End.”

*ARR is short for Asset Rollover Rate, which is the number of days between a film’s theatrical debut and its subsequent release in the home entertainment packaged media marketplace.
