Eagle Rock Entertainment gets funky on Sept. 3 with Rick
James and the DVD release of Rick James: Super Freak.
This vintage 1982 concert in Essen, Germany — his first
venue outside the United States — finds Rich James (along wiht his Stone City
Band) at the pinnacle of his rock career.
Include in this 16-song set are “Super Freak,” “Give It To Me Baby,”
“Ghetto Life” and “Love Gun.”
Bonus
features include three bonus cuts — included are an extended version of “Super
Freak” and “Hard to Get.”
