Paramount Home Media has a TV-on-DVD blitz planned for the last two street-date Tuesdays in August (Aug. 18 and Aug. 25).   So let’s get right to it!

The first wave arrives on Aug. 18 with not one, but three new six-disc sets from the various NCIS alliterations.   That of course begins with NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service - Season Twelve, starring Mark Harmon as Special Agent Jethro Gibbs in 24 thrill-packed episodes.

Bonus features included selected episode commentaries, deleted scenes and a half-dozen behind-the-scenes featurettes — “Pre-Flight Jitters: Shooting on Location,” “Bad to the Bone,” “Table for Ten,” “Rocky Carroll: Director,” “#1 Drama in the World” and “Inside Season 12.”

Accompanying this 12th season of NCIS are two spin-offs — NCIS Los Angeles: The Sixth Season and the debut of NCIS New Orleans: The First Season.

NCIS New Orleans: The First Season stars Scott Bakula as Senior Special Agent Dwayne "King" Pride, who knows every back street and bayou in the Big Easy.

Paramount Home Media will release all 23 stand-alone episodes from the first season, plus has included as a bonus the first two lead-in episodes from the 11th season of NCIS titled “Crescent City, Part 1” and “Crescent City, Part 2.”  Other bonus features included selected episode commentaries, deleted scenes and nine featurettes.

Criminal Minds: The Complete Tenth Season features all 23 case episodes featuring the laconic Special Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), profiler David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), new recruit Agent Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and the rest of the BAU team — Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Jennifer "JJ" Jareau (A.J. Cook) and computer whiz, Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness).
