Entertainment has selected Sept. 25 as the street date for a three-SKU helping
of director Charles Stone III’s hit summer comedy, Uncle Drew. Planned for release are DVD, Blu-ray/DVD
Combo Pack and 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack editions.
Ticket sales were a surprisingly strong $41.9
million … the Sept. 25 release date yields an ARR of 88 days.
Bonus features common to
all release SKUs are the featurettes titled “Youngbloods of Comedy” and “Bucket
Seats & Boom Boom Rooms: Uncle Drew’s Van.” Exclusive to the Combo Pack configurations are
commentary from director Charles Stone III, seven deleted scenes, the
featurette titled “Who is Uncle Drew?: The Making of a Basketball Icon” and Dear
Drew, an animated short film.
