Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has zeroed-in on Sept. 21 as the street date for a three-SKU launch of writer/director Justin Lin’s latest installment in the Fast & Furious series, F9: The Fast Saga.

The ARR comes in at 88 days and the box office take in the domestic market currently stands at $172.1 million.

Planned for release are Combo Pack editions for both the 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) and Blu-ray (with DVD) formats, plus a stand-alone DVD edition.

Topping the list of bonuses will be two viewing options for the film.   There will be the theatrical cut of the film, which clocks in at 143 minutes, as well as an “extended director’s cut,” offering an additional seven minutes worth of action.

Other bonus features include commentary from Justin Lin, who has already signed on for a tenth installment in the series (due in theatres in February of 2023), a gag reel, an extended overlook of the film titled “F9: All In” (46 minutes running time) and five featurettes — “Practically Fast,” “Shifting Priorities,” “Justice for Han,” “A Day on the Set with Justin Lin” and “John Cena: Supercar Superfan.”
