Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be delivering a three-SKU selection of director Daniel Espinosa’s Morbius, starring Jared Leto, to Marvel Comics’ superhero fans on June 14.
The transition from theatrical venues to the home entertainment packaged media marketplace works out to an ARR of just 74 days. Domestic box office receipts currently stand at $71.5 million.
Configured for release are Combo Pack editions for both the 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) and Blu-ray (with DVD) formats, plus a stand-alone DVD edition.
Bonus features common to all three SKUs are two production featurettes — “Defining the Antihero” and “The Good, Bad & Ugly.”
Exclusive to the Combo Pack presentations are outtakes, a blooper reel and three additional featurettes — “From Human to Vampire,” “Lights, Camera, Action” and “Living Vampire from Comics to Screen.”
