Love is where you find it.
In the case of Green Apple Entertainment’s June 23 DVD debut of
writer/director Stanley J. Orzel’s Lost for Words, the “where” is Hong
Kong, but that’s easy part.
Michael (Sean Faris — Freerunner, Ghost Machine) is the
recruited star of an elaborate Hong Kong-based ballet production and the goal of
the creative foces is to find him a co-star … a magnificent dancer to match his
skills.
But one glance at Anna (Grace
Huang — The Man with the Iron Fists 1 & 2) and his mate is found,
but her dancing skills are considered only “adequate” by the show’s producers.
If “adequate” dancing skillers was the only problem, then Lost
for Words wouldn’t be much of a film.
No, his meet-cute love affair with Anna is fraught with social, religious
and cultural minefields … and the politics of both China and the stage are at
play at well. Will love win out?
